SVENSK
For a long time I thought these guys were Swedish, mostly because of the name, but also because of the blondness factor. Then someone told me they were a British duo, and this was allegedly their only single,I believe from 1969. It’s been a favorite of mine since I found it nearly a decade ago in Montreal. The melancholy and haunting organ of “Dream Magazine” and the harsh reality of “Getting Old” unfortunately means I rarely play this one out, since the usual comments I’ve gotten from it were “weird” and “depressing”. “Beautiful” is what I like to call it.

The organ part in ‘Dream Magazine’ sounds a lot like sections of ‘La Messe Des Pauvres’ by Erik Satie. The way the chords kind of clash against on another is extremely similar… Makes you wonder, doesn’t it ? Thanks for the find !
